Dear Escapists, thank you for an incredible Lyø Escape 2023. We are so happy that you made it to our little island, that we had propper wind, that we had oysters and bobbles on the pier, that we had a music festival going into the night and early morning.
We hope to see you all again in 2024 - as always in the third weekend of August.
With a 3rd place in race I and a 2nd in race II Dirk Feldhusen took the overall win in Lyø Escape 2023 with his Beneteau First 40.7 Now or Never. Congratulations!

The 2024 Activities
Days of Sailing and Socializing
AUG 16 - 18

Participants can enter the marina from Friday AUG 18. The big day Saturday AUG 17 from 9AM. First race starts Saturday 17 at 0900 on a course of some 10 to 15 NM. The second race starts at 2 PM and will be a reverse handicap start just outside of the harbour.
Coastal rowers, standup paddles, Open Water Swimmers will get their own programs.
Kitesurfers will have a introduction class Friday 16th.
All courses and activities will be finalized at the lastet on Friday the 16 in the evening.

About Lyø Escape
Lyø Escape is an including event. It's aimed at participants and boats in CRUISING mode. The competitions will be LAID BACK and there will be no sailing after 5 PM. The concept - Sailing in the Daytime - Socializing at Night appeal to sailors looking for a reason to to ESCAPE the EVERYDAY LIFE.
You can dock in from Friday AUG 18 and meet up with the rest of the ESCAPISTS.
